Admission to the Environmental Education Center is $2 for adults and $1 for children ages 10 to 17.
Free admission for children under age ten.
There is a $3 parking fee to park at the Trailhead Pavilion (annual GTM pass holders FREE).

BROWN BAG LUNCH LECTURE
--Longnose Gar--
GTM Biological Scientist Max Henzler will give a presentation on some aspects of reproduction and diet in a coastal South Carolina population of Longnose gar.
Max attended Penn State for his undergraduate work in wildlife and fisheries sciences and general biology and received his Masters from the University of South Carolina in earth and environmental resource management.
His presentation is on his graduate research at USC. Bring your lunch and join us for an interesting presentation. There is no cost to attend the lecture. Reservations are required by calling (904) 823-4500.

--1.5 mile Guided Walk through GTM Reserve Trails--
Join GTM Volunteer Cat Eastman for a 1.5 mile interpretive walk that the entire family will enjoy.
Meet at the trailhead pavilion. Wear comfortable closed toe shoes. There is a $3 per vehicle parking fee. Reservations are required. Please call 904-823-4500.

PHOTO SAFARI
--One of a Kind Photo Tour Through the GTM Reserve--
Led by expert local photographers, this three-hour tour is designed for advanced, beginner and intermediate photographers who are ready to discover new places and new skills. Join Craig O'Neal, GTM Research Reserve Volunteer and master naturalist whose photos appear each week in The Florida Times-Union, and Joe Hunt, an award-winning photographer and learn about the techniques they use to capture nature at its best: proper camera settings, composition, macro photography, landscape photography, HDR (High Dynamic Range) imagery, and post-processing software tips. Cost is $69 per person with a portion of the proceeds benefitting the Friends of the GTM Reserve. Meet at the Trailhead Pavilion. There is a $3/per vehicle parking fee. Space is limited.

An intimate look at a typical coastal wetland reserve set in the middle of an urban area. Like so many across the country they are often overlooked, misunderstood, and underappreciated. Through breathtaking cinematography, simple understandable narration, and on-screen notes, you’ll have a chance to see what makes the lagoon work and why it is essential to protect and preserve them.
Running time for the film is 56 minutes.
