Every beach has its own story to tell. On Wednesday, Nov. 9 from 9:00-10:30 am, take a guided exploration hike at Marineland beach and discover the environment in an entirely new way. An interpretive guide will provide information about everything from shore birds to coquina rocks, and the flowers blooming along the dunes. You may even see one of the dune’s resident gopher tortoises (Gopherus polyphemus)! Don’t forget to bring along a camera, just in case.

Meet your guide at the GTM Research Reserve Marineland Field Office on the west side of A1A, located at 9741 Ocean Shore Blvd., the southern end of the Town of Marineland. The hike is free; families are welcome. Please make reservations online. For more information, please call 904-823-4500.
